Desert Rose is one of the leading world music groups in South Africa, specializing in showcasing indigenous cultures within a classical world music context. They launched their live performance career in 2008 when their album, The Prayer, became the most played CD on local VOC Radio. They have performed at major venues and events in South Africa, UK and Malaysia. In Jun/Jul 2012 they performed at Georgetown Festival in Malaysia and received standing ovations at St Ethelburgas Centre in London.
